Happy Fall & Happy October!

Oh, October. The start of HallowThanksMas aka the CRAZY, beautiful, and wild last part of the year. 2020 is around the corner and I'm not ready.

Onto the blog...
I've been wanting to start a blog about my life and my business for a long time. A place where puns and corny mom jokes fly freely. You know, a space where other people with crazy, fun, or boring and lame lives can come together and laugh with me or hell, even laugh at me. So, I  spontaneously just decided that today would be a good day to add more to my already full plate and start this wild little blog. I hope you all enjoy and if not well, just move along with your salty selves. (:

I decided, after not much thought at all, to call this blog "It's Not You, It's Me" because well, not only is that the worst line probably ever used and I find humor in things like that, but because I sometimes disappear and break up with the world for awhile to craft, create, clean, do yard work, hang out with my hardworking man & my small circle of friends, mom it, love on my family, and focus just a little (and I really mean little) on myself so I can recharge my batteries. So really, I promise, its not you, it's definitely me and I'd like to share some of those experiences with you all. 

For those of you who don't know me personally, my name is Gina and I currently live in beautiful yet unaffordable & ridiculously taxed California. I really emphasize that love/ hate relationship with CA. If you live here I know you totally understand, but I digress. I've been creating various items and have played around with multiple art mediums pretty much my entire life. The art gene runs deep in my family, but I mostly "get it from my Mama!" I love anything that has to do with art, crafting & plants. It truly makes me happy and helps to relive my stress (most of the time, other times it adds to it). 

With this blog I plan to be as transparent as I can about all things life and business. I'm a pretty personal person (say that 5x fast), so I will do my best to share a few things with the world that I may otherwise refrain from. I'd like to give you guys a feel of what it's like to be a mom, girlfriend/wife (I say that because we're not married yet, but we call each other husband and wife, marriage to come later, wait on it), small business owner, entrepreneur, student, stay at home mom aka 30 jobs wrapped into one, and last but not least a fibromyalgia warrior. I also want to give you a few laughs a long the way and I hope that some of you are able to relate.

Later, I'm going to expand this blog to show how I do different projects with instructions for you to try as well. If I use anyone's work I will of course credit that person/website because I'm not a jerk like that, I share the love. I'll give you insight on custom projects I'm working on and how they're going as well as different events and business things. In addition, I may post about different plants, information on them like what they need to grow and why I like them. I also may add some SVG files that you can use to do some of your own projects. Basically, a clusterf**k of various things. Sort of like my life.  

Please message me and let me know what you'd like to see or what you're interested in learning about either myself or the art/craft & plant world. I'd love to hear your input and make some new friends along the way.
